PREVIEW: Liverpool vs Burnley

After a disappointing 0-0 draw against rivals Manchester United on Sunday, Liverpool must win this game against Burnley at Anfield.

Burnley have not had the best results either and will no doubt set up to defend much like Newcastle, Fulham and Southampton. Burnley are sitting in 17th place out of the relegation zone, only just.

Burnley have struggled for goals with Chris Wood being the Clarets top scorer with three this season.

Liverpool hope to have Joel Matip back in defence for the game on Thursday but are still without Diogo Jota, Naby Keita, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Kostas Tsimikas.

Liverpool must find a way to score in this goal as they have dropped from first place to fourth place and hopefully with Matip in defence Jordan Henderson can return to midfield to help Thiago Alacantara keep things ticking.

Takumi Minamino who has not started since the 7-0 victory over Crystal Palace should be worth a look in to start to freshen things up in defence.
