PREVIEW: Halifax Town vs Hartlepool

Hartlepool United face Halifax town away at The Shay tomorrow night at 7pm, the fixture has already been postponed twice due to a frozen pitch.

Pools beat Sutton United 1-0 on Saturday thanks to Rhys Oates so they should be looking to build on that victory and really stake a claim for promotion.

The Shaymen were beaten last time out. 3-2 away to Maidenhead and United and they are currently sitting in 8th place in the conference

Hartlepool have won three out of the last five games vs Halifax and lost the other two with Pools winning the last fixture 3-1 on Boxing Day.

Jamie Allen is the top scorer for Halifax so far this season with four but Luke Summerfield who signed from Wrexham in the summer should be one to keep an eye on in the midfield.

Luke Molyneux has completed his suspension and should be back into contention for Pools and so will Gary Liddle who was on the bench on Saturday.

Halifax in are in mixed form and Hartlepool should win this one, if the game goes ahead, TBG predicts a Hartlepool 2-0 win.
