PREVIEW: England vs Germany

England face old rivals Germany tonight in the Euros Round of 16 at Wembley Stadium and live on BBC One at 5pm.

Gareth Southgate's side finished top of Group D, without conceding a goal and fairly comfortably.

Which cannot be said about the German's who lost, drew and one just once and left it late to qualify, drawing against Hungary in their final game.

Despite this they have obvious quality in the squad, the experience of Manuel Neuer, Mats Hummels and Thomas Muller.

The inform Robin Gossens, Ilkay Gundogan and Serge Gnabry will be the real ones to watch for the game in a side littered with talent.

There are rumours ahead of the game that Southgate will play a 3-4-3 formation and Bukaya Saka continues in the side in the place of Jack Grealish, Mason Mount and Phil Foden.

The two sides have faced each other 32 times over the years winning 13 times, drawing four and losing 15 games.

A 0-0 draw was the result the last time the two sides faced each other in an international friendly match in November 2017.

A narrow 1-0 victory is what we predict with Raheem Sterling continuing his goal scoring form and England staying compact to see the game out like they have all tournament.

England could line up like this:
