LOAN WATCH: Thrashings and missing out

A late Joe Willock goal meant that Liverpool could only draw at Anfield on Saturday despite having more than 22 shots in the game?

Did players out on loan have better fortunes in their games?

Takumi Minamino - Southampton

Taki was again an unused substitute on Wednesday, in a 2-1 defeat away at Tottenham Hotspur as they dropped down to 15th place in the Premier League.

Harvey Elliott - Blackburn Rovers

On Tuesday, Elliott played 67 minutes at right wing but could not help his side as they lost 1-0 away at Sheffield Wednesday.

Elliott then came off the bench, but his side were already 5-2 up at home to Huddersfield and that is how it stayed on Saturday.

They moved up to 15th place in the Championship table.

Then both Ojo and Wilson were unused substitutes on Saturday - a 2-1 victory at home to Wycombe Wanderers.

The win fired them up to eighth place in the Championship, but the playoff dreams are probably over.
