LOAN WATCH: Millar, Lewis and Elliott putting it on a plate

The Reds did not play this week as it was FA Cup and will not have a game until Arsenal on April 4th!

However the players out on loan did have games this week and here's how they got on:

 

Takumi Minamino - Southampton

On Saturday, Southampton beat Championship Bournemouth 3-0 in the FA Cup Quarter-Finals, however, Minamino could not play due to be being cup tied.

Harvey Elliott - Blackburn Rovers

The Englishman won man of the match on Tuesday, despite Blackburn drawing 0-0 with Bristol City at Ewood Park.


Elliott then got an assist on Friday, the equaliser in a 1-1 draw against Norwich away from home.


Blackburn remained in 15th place in the Championship.

Harry Wilson & Sheyi Ojo - Cardiff City

Ojo started at left wing and Wilson came off the bench for Cardiff, on Tuesday, as the Bluebirds drew 0-0 at home to Stoke City.


Then, on Saturday Wilson started at left wing and Ojo replaced him after 84 minutes in a 1-0 victory away at Swansea in the Welsh derby.


Cardiff moved up to eighth place in the Championship thanks to the four points through the week.

Sepp van den Berg - Preston North End

Preston lost 2-0 to Middlesbrough on Tuesday and van den Berg played the full game at right back.


Then, on Saturday, the Dutchman again played the full game at right back in a 1-0 home defeat to Luton Town.


Preston are in 16th place of the Championship after the two games this week.

Liam Millar - Charlton Athletic

Millar played 64 minutes at left wing in a 1-1 draw against Shrewsbury on Tuesday night.


The Canadian then had a fantastic game on Saturday getting two assists in a 2-2 draw against Wimbledon away from home.


The two points through the week kept them in sixth place and in a promotion place in League One.

Loris Karius and Taiwo Awoniyi - FC Union Berlin

Both players did not feature for Union Berlin on Saturday as they were smashed 5-2 away at Eintracht Frankfurt.


Despite the heavy defeat, Union Berlin remained in 7th place in the Bundesliga.

Marko Grujic - FC Porto

Grujic again came off the bench late on in the match to help see out a 2-1 victory over Portimonense in Liga NOS - keeping them in second place.

Adam Lewis - Plymouth Argyle

On Tuesday, Adam Lewis came off the bench in the 79th minute to try find a winner but could not and his side lost late on to MK Dons 2-1.


Lewis then got two assists for Plymouth from left back in a 2-0 victory against Bristol Rovers on Saturday in League One, as they remained in 16th place in the table.

Kamil Grabara - AGF

Grabara played the full game on Sunday in a 1-1 draw against Brondy away from home - keeping them in third place.

Vítězslav Jaroš - St Patrick's Athletic


The Under 23s keeper made his debut on loan over in Ireland this week in match day 1 of the Premier Division.


Jaros played the full game in goal in 1-1 draw against Shamrock Rovers on Friday, placing them in seventh place in the table.
