LOAN WATCH: How did Liverpool's players away from Anfield get on in their games this week?

The Reds returned to winning ways thanks to a Diogo Jota goal last night against his old side Wolverhampton Wanderers.


Did the players away from Anfield find similar luck?

 

Takumi Minamino - Southampton

On Wednesday, Minamino was an unused substitute as his side were beaten 5-2 by Manchester City in the Premier League.


The Japanese international then returned to the starting XI on Sunday but the Saints again lost, 2-1 at St. Mary's against Brighton.

Harvey Elliott - Blackburn Rovers

Elliott came off the bench for Sam Gallagher in the 70th minute, but could not help his team find a winner as Blackburn drew 1-1 at home to Swansea on Tuesday.


The young Englishman then came off the bench at halftime but again could not help his side as they lost 1-0 at home to Brentford on Friday night.


Despite just the point they climbed up to 14th place in the Championship thanks to the other results.

Harry Wilson & Sheyi Ojo - Cardiff City

Wilson started in the 10 for Cardiff and Ojo came off the bench upfront, but Cardiff lost 2-1 to Watford at home - keeping them in 8th place int he Championship table on Saturday.

Sepp van den Berg - Preston North End

Van den Berg played 76 minutes at right back, as Preston lost 1-0 away at Wycombe Wanderers - dropping them down to 15th place in the Championship.

Liam Millar - Charlton Athletic

Millar played the full game at right midfield as Charlton beat Northampton 2-1 on Tuesday in League One.


The Canadian then played 64 minutes at left midfield as Charlton drew 1-1 with Shrewsbury Town - keeping them in 8th place in the table.

Loris Karius and Taiwo Awoniyi - FC Union Berlin

Neither players played in this game as Karius was an unused substitute and Awoniyi is still missing through injury.


Union Berlin won 2-1 against FC Koln on Saturday, keeping them in 7th place in the Bundesliga.

Marko Grujic - FC Porto

Grujic came off the bench against Juventus in the 90th minute to play through extra time in the Champions League on Tuesday.


Porto lost the game 3-2 but went through 4-4 on aggregate on away goals, advancing them through to the next round.


The Serb midfielder then again came off the bench in the 88th minute to help his side see out a 2-0 lead against Pacos de Ferreira in Liga Nos.

It was a big win for Porto as they climbed up to second place in the table one point ahead of Braga.

Adam Lewis - Plymouth Argyle

Plymouth lost 2-0 at home to Wigan on Tuesday night and Lewis came off the bench in the 67th minute to play left wingback.


Lewis then played 63 minutes at left wing back on Saturday as Plymouth lost again this time to Ipswich at home.


After the two games Plymouth dropped down to 16th place in the League One table.

Kamil Grabara - AGF

Grabara played the full game on Thursday in the DBU Pokalen quarter finals and although they lost 2-1 AGF went through 4-3 on aggregate.


On Monday night, Grabara again played the full game in goal, seeing out a 1-1 draw against Randers - which kept them in 3rd place in the Danish Superligaen.

Anderson Arroyo - Salamanca UDS


Arroyo played the full game in 2-1 victory over rivals Unionstas de Salamanca in the Spanish third tier - climbing them up to 8th place in their group.
