Hartlepool United have announced the signing of Isaac Fletcher on loan from Middlesbrough for the remainder of the season.
The 6 foot 4" midfielder can play in a number of different postions including attacking midfield right wing and a deeper midfield role.
For Middlesbrough under 23s this season Fletcher has played eight times, scoring three goals and getting one assist.
Last season he played 21 times in the Premier League 2, scoring five goals and setting up seven, not a bad return for a midfielder.
At just 19 he looks to have a lot to offer for Hartlepool United who are crying out for a tall attack minded player.
His ability to play on the wing may mean Pools switch to a 433 formation, something that worked last night in the victory against Charlton Athletic.
Graeme Lee will know him well from his time with the Boro Under 23s and it is no surprise he has began recruiting from his former side.
This will be his first chance at senior football, he was on the bench for Boro's 2-1 defeat to Brentford in the FA Cup last season - however he was unused from the bench.
With less than a week before the window shuts, Pools need to start bringing in some more players - hopefully some more are through the door by February.
