Report: WHTDSOB FC 2-2 FC Vibes

Vibes settle for a point as a late penalty denies a hard-working performance against Tech in the Premier Division

In the 18th minute Tech took the lead, Jack Stonehouse left his man in the box and the number 4 tucked away his header at the back post.

Vibes took the game back and worked hard throughout the first half, defending well and retaining the ball in the right areas.

The hard work paid off and in the 35th minute were awarded a penalty after a handball - Stonehouse stepped up to take and cooly slotted it into the bottom corner.

The second half was in Vibes' favour - creating more chances and preventing Tech from having any real opportunities on goal.

In the 80th minute Vibes thought they had won it, Josh Daley fires a great strike home from range the keeper had no chance.

However, just four minutes later and against the run of play, Tech found an equaliser. Alex Costello conceded a penalty after a questionable handball and the number 9 fires it home.

The game ended with a point apiece but Vibes went away feeling they should have had all three. A great effort in the game and plenty of positives to take away. UTV.
