Report: Vibes 5-3 13 FC

Vibes start off their league campaign with a 5-3 victory over 13 after a dominating performance on Brierton.

Vibes started off in the perfect way after Jamie Jobson picked up the ball on the right hand side and drilled the ball across goal which forced a save but the 13 keeper could only parry the ball into the path of Michael Snowdon who got the first Vibes goal of the league campaign.

Elliott Campbell nearly made it two after some great work from him, Danny Trathan and Josh Daley down the right hand side but his effort was saved well.

However, Vibes did get their second through Joppa who who produced a lovely turned finish past the 13 shot stopper after a great ball to his feet from Campbell.

The fist half was fully controlled by Vibes and played some lovely football, keeping possession incredibly well.

13 found away back into the game just 3 minutes after the break as they whipped in a corner and Andy Home headed it past Adam Linsel to give them an ounce of hope.

Five minutes later that hope was crushed as Josh Daley scored a really lovely goal from just outside of the area, a side foot strike that stroked the inside of the post - no chance for the keeper and it was 3-1.

After some changes 13 made it 3-2 with a nice finish in the box in the 64th minute as 13 looked to try and get something from the game.

But Joe Boarder off the bench had other ideas, Snowdon played a great ball through to him and Boarder chipped the oncoming keeper to make it 4-2 in off the post.

In the 80th minute 13 made it interesting again with another goal, as the 13 man picked it up out wide, came inside and slotted it past Linsel.

Vibes did not give up and Daley fired home another shot from close range, after a ball into his feet from captain Craig Altringham which made it 5-3 and was ultimately the last action of the match.

A great performance all round for Vibes and man of the match goes to Josh Daley for his two great goals and fantastic work in the midfield. Shoutouts to Craig Altringham, Ollie Watt and Barry Milligan who had great games also.
