Report: Pot House 2-3 FC Vibes

Jamie Jobson brace sees Vibes through to next round of the Ste Tierney after victory away at Pot House

Pot House opened the deadlock in the 16th minute after a blocked shot was given as a back pass by the referee, and the ball was laid off to Luke Hogan from the indirect free kick which he then slotted into the bottom left corner.

However, the game was in Vibes' favour and in the 34th minute Anth Thompson played one of his staple over the top of the defence balls which played through Jamie Jobson - who finished well into the bottom corner to grab his 12th of the season.

Vibes defended very well for the remainder of the first half with the defenders putting everything on the line to deny a Pot House goal.

Just after half time Vibes made it 2-1 as Craig Altringham picked up the ball and played a great ball into the box which found Joe Boarder, who took it down well but his shot was saved by the keeper - parried straight to Jobson who turned it in.

Pot House found an equaliser in the 75th minute, after a ball was whipped in by Jack Weegram from the corner and was turned in by Sean Ridden.

However, Vibes dug in and wanted it more Altringham received the ball from a Callum Shackleton through in - played a great ball into the box that was turned into his own net by Aiden Lamb to make it 3-2.

That is how the game finished with Vibes deserved winners, Callum Shackleton with man of the match for a flawless display at left back. UTV.
