Report: Pot House 2-1 FC Vibes

Vibes lose on first outing of 2022 to top of the table Pot House

The game was fairly scrappy with no side particularly playing well off the back of the Christmas break.

It was FC Vibes that got the game underway in the 20th minute, with a lovely curled effort from outside of the box from Joe Boarder to get his 18th of the season after a ball in to his feet from Barry Milligan.

Vibes looked in control for most of the first half but could not make any clear chances and ultimately Pot House got back into it.

In the 43rd minute a freekick was played into the Vibes box and after some mistimed defending the ball found its way into the back of the net to level the game.

Just two minutes later Sean Ridden was played through on goal, Adam Linsel came out to meet him but could not get a clear connection and the Pot House man took it round him and slotted it into the empty net.

The second half was very scrappy with no real chances for either side, Vibes had enough chances to get back into the game but nothing too troubling for the Pot House defence and keeper.

Man of the match for Vibes goes to Barry Milligan who was the best of a bad bunch, a lot to work on and much more improvement needed.
