Vibes through to Colin Lyver Trophy Final against 13 after comfortable win against Headland
Vibes got the match under way in the perfect way with a goal in the sixth minute, Michael Connolly beat a couple of defenders and played it to Ollie Watt who fired the ball past the keepers right with a great toe poke finish.
Vibes doubled their lead not long after that in the 19th minute, after Connolly fired home a well struck volley after a loose ball into the box from the Headland defence.
Headland had a couple of chances but nothing to testing and Vibes dealt with everything well, up the other end a few chances but nothing that could hit the back of the net.
In the 35th minute Headland got one back after a defence splitting pass made its way though to the forward who finished well past the oncoming Adam Linsel.
After a couple of changes and a formation change Vibes absorbed any pressure Headland through at them and comfortably seen out the 2-1 lead to take them into the final against 13 FC.
Man of the match goes to Watt after his 11th goal of the season and a fantastic shift at centre back in the second half to get the job done. UTV.
