Report: Gillen Arms 0-7 FC Vibes

Vibes thrash Gillen Arms in the league to keep winning run going

Ollie Watt fired Vibes into the leade in the third minute after Joe Boarder did well to run through the defence and play it to Watt who finished well past David Storey in goal for Gillens.

The first half was scrappy, the harsh weather playing its part, and no team could get anything going and missed chances.

But Vibes' perseverance payed off and in the 43rd minute Boarder played through Michael Snowdon who finished to the keepers right to make it 2-0.

Vibes win it back quickly and grab two in two minutes as Boarder gets his first of the game, getting on the end of a Anth Wilson cross.

Vibes' domination over a putrid Gillens' side continued and in the 62nd minute Boarder got his second with a lovely finish with his left foot.

Two minutes later Boarder got his hattrick after meeting a Josh Daley cross at the back post to make it five goals.

Things went from bad to worse for the Gillen arms as John Sutherland put his arse on the line to cheek in a Daley corner in the 70th minute.

Eight minutes later Daley got on the scoresheet, direct from a freekick that rattled the underside of the bar and cannoned in.

The ref decided to blow ten minutes early, ruining the chance for Ben Painter to make his debut with the Ronaldo 2002 World Cup Haircut - we must be that good.

Great game despite the conditions and sloppy first half, man of the batch goes to the bagsman, Burgatov, the goat Joseph Boarder 🔥
