Vibes thrash West End in a very warm affair on Saturday morning in third game of preseason
Vibes started slowly and could not get their foot into the game but in the 14th minute after a mix up from the West End keeper.
He thought the ball went out of play and placed it down to take a goal kick, however it wasn't and the ball was still in play Ollie Watt takes the ball and slots it into the empty net 1-0.
Six minutes later Vibes got their second as a ball was played over the top that Watt chased down and squared to the arriving Craig Altringham who finished well at the back post.
Altringham got his second of the game, after Jamie Ingram played a great ball to his feet and he turned and finished well in the 24th minute.
Not much else happened in the first half, Vibes had control of the game but no real concrete chances to grab a fourth.
After a few changes at half time, Vibes started the half slowly - Harrison Rose off the bench stepped inside from right wing back and was taken down - the ref awards a penalty which he stepped up to take and blazed over. in the 51st minute.
Vibes could not find another goal but stayed in complete control of the game, West End did not trouble the Vibes defence much at all.
However, in the 75th minute Ben Relton off the bench, played a great ball into Michael Gallagher who powered it home to make it 4-0.
The floodgates opened now against a tired West End and just two minutes later Danny Trathan played in Alex Blackwood who tapped it in for Vibes' fifth.
In the 86th minute Alex Weegram recovered the ball back from West End and played it out to Rose who redeemed himself with a great outside of the boot finish into the bottom right corner.
Ingram got another assist as he played through Blackwood who shot in off the post and rebounded off the defender to go into the back of the net, his second of the game. We'll give him it.
The last and final goal came just before full time as Ingram picked up the ball and carried it, powering it into the bottom corner from 20 yards.
A great game for Vibes in the heat, everyone played their part and full took control of the game from start to finish and some great goals were scored.
Commiserations to West End and we wish them all the best for the season.
