Report: FC Vibes 7-2 AFC Supporters

FC Vibes lose 7-2 to Supporters in Premier League clash as Painter's stool is destroyed in manager Elliott Campbell fury.

The stool has served the bench well throughout the 2022/23 campaign, serving as much-needed relief for the tired legs of coaching and media staff alike. A bitter end for an undervalued member of the team.

The game started much like the stool's life ended, with pain and misery as Craig Linsel opened the scoring in the sixth minute, snatching the ball from the Vibes defence and finishing well past his brother in goal.

Philly Angus got his first of the game in the 17th minute for Supporters he got on the end of a good ball over the top and took his strike well from the right.

Supporters pressure kept coming and in the 24th minute, Barney hit a strike from distance that left Adam Linsel rooted to the spot.

Just two minutes later Angus got his second of the game as he was played through on goal once again and beat Linsel.

Supporters struck again on the 40-minute mark this time through Luke Naylor who rifled one in from outside the area following a clever worked corner, five minutes before the break.

After halftime, Supporters were not finished and in the 50th minute, Linsel grabbed his brace with a curled effort in the bottom corner.

However, after some changes for Vibes and an injury to the Supporters keeper, the game settled down a little bit and Vibes began to build on something.

A small glimmer of hope arose in the 85th minute as Aiden Lamb snuck in a goal, with help from Naylor who went in goal for the away side, from a corner.

Just two minutes later Joe Boarder, off the bench, headed home a superb Lamb cross to make it 6-2 but it was very much too little too late.

Just before the full-time whistle, Angus completed his hattrick with a curling effort from the right well and truly wrapping up the three points for the away side.

Awful day at the office, Vibes were simply outclassed by one of the best sides in the town and it is of great relief that we will never have to play them again this season.

Man of the match to Aiden Lamb, always puts in 100% and got a goal and assist to show for it today.

Lion next week. UTV
