Report: FC Vibes 7-1 Seaton Social

FC Vibes advance to the semi-finals of the Bradley Lowery Trophy after an impressive goalscoring second-half display

Vibes took a grip of the game early on enjoying much of the possession in the Seaton Social half but nothing clear cut in the opening stages.

The deadlock was broken on 24 minutes when Joe Boarder played a great through ball to Ollie Watt who produced a tidy finish into the bottom corner.

That was it for the first half, for goals, with Vibes not able to break Seaton Social down - but tired legs after a relentless press from the home side meant the floodgates were open after the break.

In the 52nd minute, Barry Milligan got a rare goal after Watt crossed the ball into the area and after a handsome touch off the Seaton defender, Milligan slotted the ball home to make it 2-0.

Eight minutes later Alex Costello crossed the ball into the box which was turned in by the Seaton Social defender - the goal was given to him out of pity.

Vibes made it 4-0 just five minutes later after Craig Altringham played it to Michael Gallagher off the bench who hit a looped shout from outside of the area that sailed over the keeper.

In the 71st minute, Vibes got their fifth through Joe Boarder who fired the ball into the bottom corner - Seaton were rattled.

Danny Trathan off the bench hit in Vibes' sixth goal of the game after Peter Moore played a simple ball to him he came inside and hit into the top corner from outside of the area a really well-hit goal.

Vibes' last goal came in the 81st minute after Costello played the ball into the corridor of uncertainty and Milligan was there to tap it in.

Seaton got a consolation in the 87th minute but I did not see what happened to be honest let's just say John and Anth mix up at the back and free header Elliott Campbell was on the halfway line doing keepy uppies or something.

Great game, well needed win for the Vibes massive cup final on Sunday at the Suit Direct against 13 FC UTV.

Man of the match goes to Lewis Boylen fantastic work in the midfield once again.
