Report: FC Vibes 5-2 Greensides

Another big win for FC Vibes as Barry Milligan, Lewis Boylen, Joe Boarder and Jamie Jobson (2) score to keep winning streak alive

Vibes got underway straight away with a rare goal for Barry Milligan after a great ball in behind from Anth Thompson and Milligan fired it home to open the scoring just five minutes in.

In the 12th minute Vibes doubled their scoring, Michael Connolly put a ball into the box which was deflected from a Greenies defender, it fell to Lewis Boylen who slotted it in.

Joe Boarder got his 20th of the season in the 23rd minute to make it 3-0 to the home side, Boylen played him through and he finished it well.

Things got interesting in the 34th minute as Greenies got a goal back as the number 11 headed home a corner - a rarity for Vibes who never concede from set plays.

In the 42nd minute, FC Vibes conceded once again, Alex Costello and John Sutherland were too busy arguing to notice a Greenies through ball left them napping and the striker was through one on one who slotted it home.

Half time managed to settle the dust and Vibes took back control of the game in the second half, allowing for some changes.

In the 82nd minute Vibes scored once again to put the competition to bed, Elliott Campbell off the bench whipped in a great ball that found Jamie Jobson who finished well at the near post.

An absolute howler from the Greenies shot stopper, in the 90th minute Campbell played through Jobson once again - he was took out by the keeper on the edge of the box to send him for an early bath.

Joppa picked up the ball and scored directly from the freekick to make it 5-2 to Vibes and sealed the win.

Man of the match to Barry Milligan for turning up on time and producing a fine display on the wing. UTV.
