Report: FC Vibes 3-2 Throston Wanderers

Vibes edge Throston Wanderers in big Premier League clash thanks to goals from Aiden Lamb and Michael Snowdon (2).

Vibes got the perfect start as Lamb chased down a loose ball from the Wanderers defence and slotted it home taking the home side into the lead in the 9th minute.

Elliott Campbell, who was playing in goal due to an injury to regular keeper Adam Linsel, made a fantastic, low stop in the bottom corner to deny an equaliser a minute later.

But it was Vibes who got the second of the game, Lamb turned provider this time whipping in a great ball into the near post that was turned in by Snowdon.

However, the two-goal cushion lasted for just five minutes as Wanderers whipped in a freekick that was headed home by Craig Hutchinson.

Lewis Boylen had an opportunity to make it 3-1 in the 27th minute, Snowdon crossed to Aido who laid it for Boylen but his strike was straight at the keeper.

Just before the halftime whistle, Throston got their equaliser, an amazing ball over the top was chased down by Hutchinson who did really well to keep hold of the ball and play it to Leo Kirkbride who powered it past Campbell.

With a sense that they had been the better side, Vibes came out from the break firing and it took just 10 minutes to grab what would be the winner.

Jamie Jobson drifted out wide to collect the ball and played in a perfect ball into the centre where Snowdon was there to tuck it home.

Vibes dug deep and defended really well throughout the remainder of the second half with Ollie Watt having a particularly solid display at the back.

In the 87th minute, Campbell produced another vital save to keep Vibes in the lead and this ultimately was the game's last action.

Fantastic three points against one of the town's best sides, Watt claims the man of the match thanks to his amazing defensive performance. But a good display all round for Vibes who dug deep to get the win.
