Report: FC Vibes 3-1 Seaton Social

Vibes dominant in home win over Seaton Social to advance to next round of Ste Tierney Cup

Vibes started the game the best way possible with a goal in the third minute, Craig Altringham crossed the ball that was punched away by the Seaton Social keeper but it fell to Ben Relton who's shot rolled down the length of his lanky leg and curled over the keeper and into the back of the net.

Just two minutes later Vibes extended the lead as Anth Thompson played an inch perfect pass over the Seaton defence to Barry Milligan who chipped the oncoming keeper.

However, Seaton Social did find a goal in just the ninth minute as they played a defence splitting pass through and it was a good finish into the bottom corner.

In the 19th minute Adam Linsel made a good save to keep Vibes in the lead as Seaton started to grow into the game.

Nothing else major happened in the first half and Vibes went into the break as deserved winners but Seaton did have chanced to level.

The second half was a subdued affair, with Vibes controlling the majority of the possession and looking very comfortable.

Seaton Social did have one moment in the 74th minute as the forward was through on goal one on one but Linsel stood tall and saved the shot that was straight into his gloves.

Vibes seen the game off in the 77th minute as Lewis Boylen played a ball to Ollie Watt who whipped the ball into the area, Milligan dummies the ball and the shot curls into the bottom corner to put the game to bed.

The game finished 3-1 a comfortable win and a great bounce back from last week, Thompson with the man of the match after an assist and a solid defensive display.
