Report: FC Vibes 1-4 Pot House

Pot House claim all three points in a vital top of the table clash after overcoming ten-man Vibes

Vibes started the game strong, pressing the Pot House defence, Elliott Campbell nearly scored after a great run down the right but the flag was raised for offside after the ball was in the back of the net.

The scoring was opened just a few moments later when Campbell turned provided squaring the ball across goal for Joe Boarder to tap in to put Vibes in a really good position.

However, disaster struck - Adam Linsel ran out to head away from an over the top ball but failed to get real contact with it. Luke Hogan won the ball back took it around Linsel and hit it into the empty net. Barry Milligan decided to slap the ball away as it was sailing into the net, getting him sent off and giving Pot House a penalty. 1-1.

Ten-man Vibes were noticeably rattled from what just happened and immediately conceded another, Hogan played through and a simple finish for him. Pot House were in front.

Vibes still looked the better side- but with fewer men could just not do enough to turn the ball into the back of the Pot House net.

Lewis Newbury got the third for the Pot, after winning his header in the box to all but seal the three points for Pot House on Brierton.

Vibes still pressed for something in the game having shots and creating chances throughout the second half, but it was just not enough to make an impact.

In the 85th minute, the Pot House put the final nail in the coffin and made it 4-1 after Anthony Steele latched on to some sloppy play at the back.
