Report: FC Vibes 1-2 Shottons 3 Lions

3 Lions edge Vibes in windy affair to claim all 3 points in Premier Division

It was Vibes who started the game strongly as Barry Milligan came in from the left in the 12th minute and shot but the keeper saved, and the rebound fell to Michael Connolly whose strike was over the bar.

The goal for Vibes came two minutes later, Connolly involved once again as he made a great run inside the box and played it to Jack Stonehouse who finished well into the keepers left and into the bottom corner.

Connor Campbell could have equalised for 3 Lions two minutes after that, but his strike was saved by John Sutherland in goal.

Connolly had a good chance for a second for Vibes in the 24th minute, but he could not get his shot away, the ball fell to Jamie Jobson in the box, but his header was wide.

However, in the 32nd minute 3 Lions did find an equaliser as Vibes failed to get rid of the ball at the back and the number 9 for 3 Lions found some space and puts it into the back of the net.

3 Lions found some momentum and in the 51st minute got what was the winner in the game, the ball found its way into the box and Vibes could not make the challenge and the 3 Lions forward slot the ball past Sutherland.

Jobson had a good chance for an equaliser but his shot could only produce a corner, which led to nothing in the 53rd minute.

Joe Boarder, off the bench, had a couple of opportunities to find an equaliser but the ball did not fall kindly to him and 3 Lions seen out the 2-1 victory.

The conditions were not kind, a lot of wind meant the game could not be played in a nice way, but Vibes were not good enough and 3 Lions deserved to claim all three points.
