REPORT: FC Vibes 0-5 W.H.T.D.S.O.B.

Tech cruise through a hard working Vibes team to clinch all three points to help in their bid for title

Tech started the game off strong with a couple of chances but the first effort sailed over the bar and the second, John Sutherland was equal to it.

In the 19th minute debutant Lewis Boylen, off the bench for Vibes, dribbled through a few defenders and got a shot off but it was high and wide.

However just a minute later W.H.T.D.S.O.B. got their first goal as they made a good run down the left and played a ball into the box which was finished well.

In the 28th minute Danny Trathan made a fantastic goal line clearance to deny a second as he ran back to block the shot that beat the Vibes keeper.

They did get a second two minutes later, a great ball into the box and a fantastic volley into the bottom corner - a really well taken goal.

Just before halftime Tech made it 3-0 as a tame effort at goal slipped through Sutherland's hands and into the back of the net.

Vibes started the second half strongly with Michael Gallagher down the left hand side, played a good ball to Jamie Jobson in the centre but his header was over.

Ollie Watt had a chance for a goal that came loose from a corner not long after, but his well hit strike was over the bar.

The fourth goal came in the 55th minute as a ball out wide to the right wing and he came inside and finished well.

After a bad tackle and further dissent, the number two was sent off for Tech, reducing them down to ten men.

The game calmed down as Tech held what they had, but they did get a fifth in the 77th minute as it was a good ball through from Bailey Haggan off the bench and a simple finish for W.H.T.D.S.O.B.

John Sutherland made a couple of great saves late on in the game to keep the score at 5-0.

Couldn't ask much more of Vibes against a better sides, non stop work and plenty of positives to take away from the game.

Man of the match goes to debutant Lewis Boylen on his debut, great work in the midfield and put in a good shift despite not playing in a while.
