REPORT: FC Vibes 0-3 Greatham Bull & Dog

Greatham edge Vibes in second half after great first half from the home side

Vibes started strongly creating good chances on goal early on through Michael Connelly and Ollie Watt.

The best of the game so far came through Watt in the 37th minute as he was played though one and one but the ball just got away from him and his shot was saved by the keeper.

An even better chance came in the 39th minute as Elliott Campbell picked the ball up on the right wing played a great ball across to Watt, who found Campbell coming in at the far post who hit it very well but the keeper produced a great save to deny a Vibes opener.

Vibes hard work in the first half was sadly undone as Greatham found an opener, against the run of play, a cross into the box which was not dealt with and was turned in by Bull & Dog.

Watt had a chance from a direct free kick to find an equaliser but it sailed over the bar.

In the 72nd minute Greatham could have had a second as the winger came in from the left and shot inside but it was just wide of the post.

They did get their second int he 78th minute as another chance came from the winger coming in from the left but this time he hit it well and finessed it into the far post.

The third and final nail in the coffin came as the Greatham forward was played through and it was just a simple finish.

Hard one to take for Vibes after a fantastic first half, but Greatham deserved something from the game after their turnaround in the second half.

Man of the match goes to Anthony Thompson great work in defence and midfield, always puts a shift in no matter where he plays.
