Report: FC Hartlepool 1-7 FC Vibes

Vibes continue with another in the Championship after 7-1 romping of FC Hartlepool Sunday team

After an initial shaky start Vibes got things underway in the 10th minute as Michael Connolly whipped in a fantastic free kick that found Jamie Jobson perfectly who tapped it home.

The game slowed down a bit and FC Hartlepool had a couple of chances to get back into the game, but game into fruition and the score stayed at 1-0.

Vibes turned it around and in the 30th minute after some good attacking play the ball rebounded out to Josh Daley who fired it into the top corner, another screamer for midfielder to double Vibes' lead.

Seven minutes later Craig Altringham found his way onto the scoresheet after great pressing work to win the ball back and he slotted it away.

Five minutes after the halftime break was when the next goal came and it was Joe Boarder who got it after a lovely left footed finish after Jobson squared it to his feet.

After a few changes after Vibes' fourth the game flattened as the new men got a feel for the game and Vibes kept a grip of game and did not force another.

However, in the 77th minute the goals began to flood in, Jobson completed his second with a simple finish after a loose ball from an FC defender fell handsomely to him.

Then four minutes later Jobson completed his hattrick after Connolly played a ball into the head of Ben Relton, off the bench, who headed it across goal to Jobson - the poacher.

Just two minutes later Connolly got onto the scoresheet for Vibes' seventh and final goal as FC defended well but it came straight to him and he hit it first time and sailed into the bottom corner.

A great game, everyone gave it 100% and it showed in the result - Michael Connolly won man of the match after his great graft and creative work in the midfield that resulted in a goal and an assist.
